There's No Place Like Home, There's No Place Like Home . . . Well, we should be landing in San Diego right now instead we are cramped in a dingey airport hotel in Beijing. To say we are upset is a HUGE understatement! We left our hotel yesterday at 4am but our flight out of Guangzhou was delayed an hour and a half. Despite this we ran - literally with bags and baby to our connecting flight and made it with an hour to spare but the airline would not let us check-in as it closed 20 minutes prior. So we leave today, Friday in China, Thursday in the US, and arrive Friday around 2pm. We keep reminding ourselves of the purpose of this trip and that after almost 3 years we finally have our daughter. What's one more night in China, right?
